Lettering and typography offer a space for me to celebrate my individuality in a manner relatable to both Indonesian and global audiences.
The term “hand-drawn” refers to any drawing tool, whether it is traditional or digital. The most critical aspect of creating clear and visually appealing hand-lettering is skill and finesse, regardless of the tool used. This approach differs from calligraphy and brush lettering, where the letters are written naturally with the tool without additional digital or manual manipulation. Many hand-lettered scripts resemble calligraphy but are typically sketched, modified, refined, and coloured.
